Joshua:The Definition Of A Great Leader

Joshua was a great man known for his leadership ability. He was there for the Exodus from Egypt, The 10 Commandments, The Promise Land, and the battle of Jericho. When one examines the life of Joshua two character traits shine through. The first trait is courage.

Courage is something that seems to exist within every great leader. It gives them the ability to move forward when everyone around them is running away. It provides people who follow a source of inspiration to achieve any goal no matter how big or small. Joshua was a man of great courage.

Second, Joshua was a man of obedience. Obedience is a powerful character trait. To obey means to lead with confidence. Joshua was obedient to Moses his leader and to God his creator and protector. To lead with obedience means that a person must trust and follow through with their mission in life. Both courage and obedience are excellent leadership character traits to have in one's life. God be with you!
