Abraham was a man of great faith in a personal God who believed in him. When discussing Abraham two things come to mind. First, Abraham's obedience coupled with a strong faith. Abraham was a man who listened to God and walked alongside of God's big plans for his life.
The second thing is that God still blessed Abraham even though his life was less than perfect. We read on more than one account were Abraham doubted God and tried to come up with his own solutions to the problems he encountered on his life journey. Both of these character traits can be found in every man on this planet. We can learn that God is in love with us and wants us to live a life of obedience and sacrifice. So lets learn from Abraham and live a life of great faith.
